If a driving test can't go ahead
When a test can't go ahead because of bad weather, a new appointment date will usually be sent within 3 working days. This could take up to 7 days when the bad weather goes on for longer. You won't have to pay again.
You won't be able to claim for any out-of-pocket expenses when tests are cancelled because of bad weather.
Theory tests
Theory tests are only usually affected by very severe weather. If a theory test is cancelled because of bad weather, it will be rebooked automatically at no further cost.
Booking the driving test isn't hard, however, it's a good idea to have the correct documents at hand.
The same information is required whether booking online, over the phone or by post
